Key Takeaways
- Comfy mode uses intelligent triggers to maintain your ideal temperature and humidity levels.
- Temperature Range Lock allows you to set minimum and maximum temperature limits, preventing the AC from operating outside these bounds.
- By integrating these features, Cielo’s smart AC controllers offer enhanced climate control, promoting energy savings and comfort.
With Cielo Breez smart AC controllers, you can enjoy features like ‘Comfy Temperature’ & ‘Comfy Humidity’ to automatically set a room environment based on their preferred temperature or humidity values.
Another important feature is Temperature Range Lock, where you can set a temperature range, and your unit will operate within that range. This is super helpful for vacation rentals where you don’t want the guests to crank up the AC and drive up high bills.
These features are designed and optimized to provide greater control to users for more energy savings with added convenience.
Let’s dive right into the new offerings!
Comfy Temperature
To better understand the benefits of “Comfy Temperature,” let us apply it in heat and cool mode, respectively:
Comfy Temperature Settings in Heat mode
If you are looking to operate your AC in heat mode, select your Comfy range (please note that you should choose the upper temperature as one degree below your ‘Set Point Temperature’ in Heat Mode so that Comfy mode can trigger). Your AC will stay ON in heat mode till your room temperature crosses the upper-temperature limit and will automatically turn OFF at that point. It will again power on automatically as soon as the room temperature falls below the lower temperature limit (as per already configured mode, fan speed, swing position, etc.). This way, you will always have the ideal room temperature in your home.
Your best choice to make any mini-split, window,
or portable AC smart. Enhance your comfort and savings.

Comfy Temperature Settings in Cool mode
If you are looking to operate your AC in cool mode, select your Comfy range (please note that you should choose the lower temperature as one or two degrees above your ‘Set Point Temperature’ in Cool Mode so that Comfy mode can trigger). Your AC will stay ON till your room temperature falls below the lower temperature limit, at which point it will automatically turn OFF or go to your specified setting. It will again power ON & go to cool mode as previously set, all on its own, as soon as the room temperature crosses the upper-temperature limit (as per already configured settings of mode, fan speed, swing position, etc.).
Comfy Humidity
Comfy Humidity can also be configured for places where you want to power the AC ON or OFF. Broadly similar to the Comfy Temperature mode, Comfy Humidity will set triggers based on humidity levels rather than temperature. It helps you achieve the ideal humidity levels. Once the humidity falls below or goes above a certain level, the AC will change its operating mode, as specified.
Note: Enabling Comfy Humidity will disable Comfy Temperature and vice versa. Only one of these can be activated at a time.
Temperature Range Lock
An air conditioner operates under 64 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (18-30 degrees Celsius) in normal conditions. But suppose you are a rental homeowner and worried about excessive use of your air conditioning at extreme temperatures. In that case, you can lock the temperature range your guests can work with. Now, instead of 64 to 86 degrees, your guests can only venture between a temperature range of your choice, for example, 68 to 78 degrees.
Schools, hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings, and other such locations can benefit from this useful feature. They can save up on their energy usage, air conditioner maintenance, and keep a healthy & comfortable environment. Cielo smart AC/heat pump controllers can prove to be a very beneficial addition to your property.
Note: Setting your preferred range may automatically disable your previously set schedules, location controls, or Comfy mode if the selected temperature range conflicts with previously set temperature values. You can always edit those features individually to enable them again.
This is just one line of continuous improvements by Cielo to optimize the current range of smart features. Our mission is to make your life easy and enjoyable by providing the best in smart HVAC systems, and Cielo Smart Rules is one major step in that direction.
